Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Fancies at Aintree, Ballinrobe, Dundalk, Fontwell, Kempton and Sedgefield

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Aintree

4.40: Skytastic

Martin Pipe winner Banbridge warrants respect but there are some intriguing alternatives who come here fresh having bypassed Cheltenham. First choice is good prospect Skytastic (nap), who remains unbeaten and may be able to give Sam Thomas a first Grade 1 success as a trainer. Crystal Glory (second choice) has a solid profile, while Gelino Bello and Gentleman At Arms are also on the shortlist.
Steve Boow

Ballinrobe

5.35: The Dara Man

Having roared back to form over fences at Limerick last time, C&D winner The Dara Man (nap) can convert that resurgence back to hurdles. Noble Birth put up his best run when second at Navan last time. This better ground will suit and he can go well. Varna Gold has run well here before, while classy performers Zoffanien and Wouldn't You Agree can't be discounted.
Tyrone Molloy

Dundalk

6.20: Buenaventura

Both Buenaventura (nap) and Haroya should enjoy stepping up to 1m4f and slight preference is for the former whose 3lb rise for her course win in February looks lenient.
Mark Nunan

Fontwell

2.35: Poppa Poutine

Plumpton specialist I See You Well is also very effective at this track but he probably doesn't have much margin for error off his current mark and preference is for Poppa Poutine (nap), who opened his chasing account at Wincanton last month and is not yet fully exposed over fences.
Chris Wilson

Kempton

7.30: Silver Dollar

A competitive handicap can go to the lightly raced and well-related Silver Dollar (nap), who settled better in cheekpieces when winning easily off a 6lb lower mark at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. The Nail Gunner and Calin's Lad, who are closely matched on recent running, are two others with decent claims.
Graham Weldon

Sedgefield

2.10: Moonlight Glory

Having run a sound race when second at Hexham on her stable debut, Moonlight Glory (nap) is taken to continue her trainer's good run of form by beating Spot On Soph in this interesting contest.
Colin Russell
