Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings
Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Cork
3.57: Fancy Girl
Tilloughna sets the standard on Rules form but she could be vulnerable to any above average rivals. FANCY GIRL is preferred after a game win in a point on debut prior to her sale for £200,000 and she can help enhance her yard's excellent strike-rate in bumpers this term. The newcomer Double Dating is an obvious danger for Gordon Elliott.
Phill Anderson
Kempton
6.30: Asdaa
Sandy Paradise and River Wharfe can go well, while at likely bigger prices both Come On John (second choice) and Taskheer can have their case argued. ASDAA was well on top at the finish here on Wednesday though and he can complete a quick hat-trick.
Paul Smith
Lingfield
2.55: Vision Of Hope
There is no strong urge to oppose VISION OF HOPE, who began her handicap career with two 1m4f wins and could still have more improvement to come. Pablo Prince was placed behind the selection over course and distance a week ago and will probably be on the premises again. Liberated Lad is next on the list.
Chris Wilson
Newcastle
1.58: Theme Tune
Top of the list is THEME TUNE, who was a decisive winner at Haydock last time on his second run for Nick Alexander. The step up in trip could be a plus for the very lightly raced seven-year-old Gentleman De Mai and he may be the main danger ahead of Top Of The Bill.
Ben Hutton
Sandown
2.25: Authorised Speed
Judged on bumper and hurdles form, AUTHORISED SPEED holds particularly strong claims, and his latest success came in a course-and-distance event that has been a useful source of Tolworth winners in recent years. Progressive Tahmuras (second choice) and promising Arctic Bresil are feared most, ahead of L'Astroboy who beat Tahmuras in a bumper last winter.
Steve Boow
Wincanton
1.30: Galahad Quest
Kiltealy Briggs and Elixir De Nutz should ensure that this is truly run. The suggestion is GALAHAD QUEST who had excuses at Cheltenham last time, and this belated return to softer ground rates a big plus. Celebre D'Allen is second choice.
Alistair Jones
