Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Ayr
3.15: Theinval
Dan Skelton has won the last three runnings of this race with different horses and that alone heightens interest in Not That Fuisse, who has solid form claims anyway after his excellent effort in the Grand Annual. However, the suggestion is Theinval (nap), whose good record at this meeting offers plenty of hope that he can return to form off his dangerous mark.

Newbury
2.50: Dingle
The Hannon stable has won three of the last six runnings and the Wiltshire trainer saddles three today. Dingle (nap) is particularly interesting as he beat Recovery Run on his nursery debut at Kempton last September and that form has been given a major boost by the subsequent exploits of the runner-up. Stablemate Clarendon Cross is feared most based on how well his fourth place in a Leicester novice in August has worked out.
Ben Hutton
Fontwell
2.25: Nye Bevan
The one that appeals most is Nye Bevan (nap), who has been knocking on the door in good-ground handicaps in his last two starts and still looks on a workable mark.

Ballinrobe
7.30: Fameaftertheglory
Glengouly has to be better than what he showed on debut for Willie Mullins but even if he improves as expected he will need to be an above average sort to beat Fameaftertheglory (nap). A point winner who made decent money, Fameaftertheglory showed up well in a bumper last month at Punchestown to finish second and should go one better here.
Brian Sheerin
Bath
5.40: Wise Words
A strong pace over a stiff 5f on a fast surface is ideal for Wise Words (nap), who goes well fresh and sets the standard back against her own sex after a light 2020 season.
Graham Wheldon
Exeter
5.50: Jarveys Plate
Fergal O'Brien exploited Liam Harrison's 7lb claim to good effect at Cheltenham this week and Jarveys Plate (nap) can also reap the benefits. If repeating his recent winning form from Newbury, he should be hard to beat.
