Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings
Selections from Chelmsford, Fairyhouse, Kempton, Lingfield, Warwick and Wetherby
Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Lingfield
2.55: Toplight
There is a slight caveat in that he hasn't shone here in the past but Toplight (nap) had a bit up his sleeve when winning at Wolverhampton 11 days ago and a repeat of that effort should suffice in this field. Iconicdaay (second choice) and Secret Stripper bring low mileage and could pose the biggest threat.
Paul Smith
Wetherby
2.32: Iroko
Add 198 yards to race distance due to rail movements. Iroko (nap) won over course and distance on his handicap debut in November and this unexposed five-year-old can follow up. Captain Zebo was sixth in that race but could appreciate today's slower ground and he's second choice off a reduced mark. Rafferty's Return and Foster'sisland fought out the finish here on Boxing Day and could also be involved, along with the in-form Eternally Yours.

Kempton
2.40: West Balboa
Lightly raced West Balboa (nap) is taken to build on her Sandown reappearance effort and go one better. She's a promising sort, who ran well in last season's Challow, and this scenario looks ideal as her novice win came over 2m5f on a sharp track. Second choice is Dubrovnik Harry, who looks interesting returned to hurdles. Irish challenger Green Glory commands respect, while Petit Tonnerre and Harbour Lake are others for the shortlist. Outlaw Peter would have something to prove if the ground is soft/heavy but he's otherwise another appealing type.
Steve Boow
Fairyhouse
1.02: A Law Of Her Own
A lot of dead wood here and not much depth to this. Splashing Out will have her day, but she might have to play second fiddled again, this time to A Law Of Her Own (nap) who showed herself well capable of winning a race like this when fourth in a Thurles Listed contest last month.
Justin O'Hanlon
Warwick
3.00: Iwilldoit
If there is a blot on the handicap it will probably be Mr Incredible but there are two sides to him. Threeunderthrufive and Guetapan Collonges are eyecatching candidates for this step up in trip, at opposite ends of the weights, and so is Grumpy Charley following his return to form two weeks ago. Preference, however, is for Iwilldoit (nap), who has not raced since last season's Welsh National triumph but looked all class and stamina in that impressive two-race campaign and has shown he can deliver after a layoff. A safe round from Guetapan Collonges may present the greatest threat.
Richard Austen
Chelmsford
6.00: Silky Smooth
Roger Varian's Silky Smooth (nap) won nicely enough on his handicap debut last month and ought to be hard to beat with further improvement very much on the cards. The well-bred Charlie Johnston handicap newcomer Carouselle may give him most to do.
