Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings
Friday selections from Ascot, Dundalk, Fontwell, Gowran, Hexham and Newcastle

Ascot
3.05: Mandoob
While Scope and Chalk Stream have the best form, the former has proved his stamina and the latter goes beyond 1m4f for the first time. One to scupper them both is Mandoob (nap) who is the most lightly raced in this field and whose novice wins at about 1m4f shouted stamina, an impression which was not significantly dented when he took second to the subsequent Great Voltigeur winner Yibir in a 1m5f Group 3 at Newmarket.
Richard Austen
Dundalk
6.45: Absolute Ruler
This looks like a warm renewal with a host of potential pattern performers in the field. King X J took a big step forward from his debut when landing a valuable pot at the Curragh last time and first-time out winners Markaz Paname and Leinster House both warrant respect. However, Absolute Ruler (nap) sets a high standard on form following his Group 2 third on Champions' Weekend and that effort is worth upgrading, having had plenty of ground to make up entering the straight that day.

Fontwell
3.20: Gaot
She has fitness to prove after a 388-day absence but unexposed mare Gaot (nap) bumped into a well-treated rival and was beaten under 1l when a clear second on her handicap debut. Her subsequent 3lb rise is offset by Kevin Brogan's very useful claim here and she has significant potential for further improvement this season. No Worries has won his last two and is feared most.
Chris Wilson
Gowran
4.23: Good Time Jonny
Having been third in a better quality race than this at Listowel last week, Good Time Jonny (nap) should be capable of breaking his hurdles duck today. Dollar Value has been in such good form on the Flat that he has to be respected, while Guiri should run well. The more rain the better for Marjaman.
Tyrone Molloy
Hexham
4.05: Graystown
The safest option is Graystown (nap), who runs this track so well and he's in better form than most of these. Scots Sonnet could be the danger on his chasing debut after winning so well off the same mark over hurdles last time. Cash Again would appreciate rain, whereas Tokaramore would not.
Alistair Jones
Newcastle
5.25: Bringitonboris
Although an extra furlong may have been preferable, Bringitonboris (nap) is the one to beat from the same mark as when beaten a nose over a mile here seven days ago. Twisted Dreams, who finished behind him that day, may give him more to do back at 7f, while Saisons D'Or and Harry Love are others for the shortlist.
