Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Ascot

3.00: Rohaan

Al Suhail is intriguing on the drop to 6f and he and Princess Shabnam are likely to do the honours in setting the pace. The question with ROHAAN (nap) is more a case of whether he is still in form rather than whether he is good enough, but he goes extremely well at Ascot and he was very close to the season's best sprinters when coming home like a train at Deauville in August. Last year's winner Vadream is another to have a good run in her back here with rain about, while the indefatigable Summerghand is also respected. Commanche Falls has a weights chance with the latter on two recent runs but lacks course experience.
Emily Weber

Fontwell

2.35: Huelgoat

Wetanwindy is perhaps a shade fortunate to have escaped a nudge up the weights since his second here in May, given the winner was on the first leg of a hat-trick and that there was a ten-length gap back to the third. However, HUELGOAT (nap) seemed to have a quite a bit left in the tank when winning on last month's chasing debut and he might still have a lot more to offer over fences.
Chris Wilson

Gowran Park

1.45: Charlie Luciano

It's hard to get away from CHARLIE LUCIANO (nap) after a big run when runner-up on his last hurdle outing and the others have a fair bit to find to match that level of form. Cougar is an interesting recruit for his new yard after a promising Flat campaign and Shetland Tony can build on a good fourth when last seen at Down Royal.
Phill Anderson

Killarney

3.40: Drombeg Duke

With more rain forecast conditions could become really testing. That won't bother DROMBEG DUKE (nap), who was unlucky not to go really close last time and it's a tad surprising that he doesn't race more often over this far. Starting Monday was done no favours at the start last week at Listowel and he can make his presence felt, as can Dragon Of Malta and Imposing Supreme.

Newmarket

4.27: Wynter Wildes

Mellow Yellow is a handicap newcomer of fascinating possibilities, having missed so much of this season. Swoon and Whimsy (second choice) should be seriously involved, which Crema Inglesa certainly was last year and she stands out at the weights given her form this spring. However, preference is for WYNTER WILDES (nap), a soft-ground and AW winner who has been so reliable in recent months and still looked capable of better last time out when there were problems removing her blindfold as the stalls opened and she was held up in traffic 2f out.
Richard Austen

Redcar

3.57: Trais Fluors

A hot handicap in which Give It Some Teddy is greatly respected in his bid to win the race for a third time. Preference, though, is for TRAIS FLUORS (nap), who had a sighter for this when third over C&D earlier this season and has dropped to a very favourable mark for a stable which showed its handicap skills in last week's Cambridgeshire. Others worthy of a favourable mention include Star Shield, Diamondonthehill, Spirit Catcher, Pisanello and A Boy Named Ivy. Star Shield may chase home the selection.
Keith McHugh

Wolverhampton

7.30: Watchya

Ancient Times, Roman Dragon and Swiss Ace each have something to recommend them but none appeals more than WATCHYA (nap). Clive Cox's three-year-old lost his unbeaten record on AW when only fourth at Newcastle 16 days ago but he tanked his way through that race and a return to a sharper test can see him take another step forward.
