Plenty with a chance here with Florence Thompson and Derrinlaur Spender having caught the eye in recent C&D runs. Preference though is for recent course runner-up ZIG ZAG ZYGGY. He has been a consistent performer since returning to Ado McGuinness and should appreciate the drop in trip. Betrayed and It's All A Joke could also threaten.

Harry Fry's REE OKKA should be the one with better days ahead of him and this longer trip is likely to suit him well. Course specialist Head To The Stars commands respect with his yard going great guns, though it's a concern that regular partner Hugh Nugent is absent (with his claim) and his form figures under Richard Patrick are PPP. Tide Times might be a greater threat, as he also runs this track well and his recent second here has been well advertised. With headgear back on, Didero Vallis also enters the equation.

Preference is for ROOFUL, who has been in great form here since returning to AW and may still improve further on this surface. The maidens Dashing Rat (second choice) and Sense Of Security are competitively weighted and look shortlist material judged on recent form.

This looks more competitive than most 0-55 handicaps, with three runners carrying penalties for recent wins. The pick is BERNARDSPIERPOINT, who was very strong in the betting before scoring on his debut for Darryll Holland and could quite easily have more to offer for his new stable. Praise Of Shadows has to overcome a double-digit draw and possible competition for the early lead from Ustath today but he impressed when dominating over C&D last week and is feared most.
