Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Cork

4.57: Burren Song

Not a particularly competitive handicap and Burren Song(nap) is one of the few unexposed sorts. He's improved since handicapping of late and still looks ahead of his mark. Toreen Angel could be a danger if she gets away on terms and No Show will appreciate a return to further.
Phill Anderson

Fairyhouse

1.45: Snake Oil

There was plenty to like about the reappearance from Snake Oil (nap) who ran with credit behind Bring On The Night (finished fourth in the Supreme) and he shapes like he will relish this longer trip. Glenglass is the obvious danger, having not given his running at Navan last time.

Hereford

3.20:Gouet Des Bruyeres

In a fairly competitive race for the grade the suggestion is Gouet Des Bruyeres(nap) who won off today's mark on good ground in September, after a break. Bebraveforglory has been placed in a 2m chase since winning a 2m5f hurdle here on his stable debut in February and ought to pose a significant threat. Captain Cobajay makes his debut for Richard Newland here and is also of interest.
Chris Wilson

Plumpton

3.05: Gleno

All five can be given a shout but Gleno (nap) shaped better over hurdles here last month and there is no denying he is now on an attractive mark. He gains the vote ahead of the consistent Len Brennan.
