Having fallen in the weights, Coronation Cottage shaped with a bit more promise last time and could be the answer. The main threat could be Nacho, arguably unlucky at Beverley last week, while the consistent Glamorous Force is unlikely to be far away. David's Beauty usually runs well at Chepstow and could bounce back off a career-low mark.

3.15: Free Wind

The length-and-a-half margin of victory doesn't reflect how much in hand Free Wind had in a Group 3 at Deauville last month, and that performance reads extremely well in today's context. Fellow threew-year-old Save A Forest looked a good prospect for this sort of trip when a game Listed winner over 1m4f at Newmarket last time and she could be best of the rest, ahead of Yesyes who won over a similar distance to this in a Listed race at Chester last month. The five-year-old Tribal Craft has the form to feature but could probably do with lots of rain.

Harston has a nice middle-distance pedigree and can progress from her successful handicap debut, but the same should be true of Just Jacob. They didn't appear to go that fast at Newbury so to have come from last to first and win going away was highly commendable. My Boy Charles and Night Eagle have more to deal with than in winning their latest races.

7.00: Miami Joy

Pinnata is used to plying his trade in much stronger AW races than this and he should make a bold bid from the inside stall. Taawfan is low mileage and could yet rate higher but Miami Joy went close in a useful event at Kempton last month and he still has time on his side.
