Longchamp
3.05: Adayar
It is rare to see so many top-ranking horses taking each other on and today's contest is worthy of the 100th running of this great race. The ground conditions will not be ideal for some, including the main Japanese contender Chrono Genesis seemingly, but Hurricane Lane will be suited by them if he is still in peak form after his long season. Tarnawa is hard to pass over but the combination of testing conditions and this trip could take the sting out of her finish and preference is for the powerhouse that is Adayar (nap). In a class of his own in the Derby, he was impressive against the older horses too in the King George next time and, all things being equal, the longer the race goes on the better he will look. Although single-figure stalls have been generally helpful in recent runnings, he is by no means drawn out of it from this stall. Snowfall and Love have been responsible for some of the most mesmerising wins at Group 1 level in the last two seasons but both come here after defeats last time. Alenquer, who has nothing to fear from the conditions and still has potential, and Raabihah, a strong finisher on heavy in this race 12 months ago, are interesting contenders among the bigger prices.
Emily Weber
Tipperary
3.45: Gin On Lime
Having gone down narrowly to Fan De Blues at Galway last time, Gin On Lime(nap) is 7lb better off today for that one-length defeat and can exact her revenge. Fancy Foundations is unexposed over fences and could be the fly in the ointment.

Killarney
3.30: Buddy Rich
Buddy Rich (nap) should take a lot of beating considering the absence Dancing On My Own must contend with and West Cork Wildway's lack of experience though the betting will be interesting.
Johnny Ward
Uttoxeter
4.35: Copper Coin
Havana Hermano can give another very good account if the ground is no worse than good to soft but the suggestion is Copper Coin (nap) who ended last season in very good form, has a good record when fresh and is not yet fully exposed. Justatenner is getting long in the tooth now and has regressed this year but a strong gallop here might enable him to pose a threat off his much-reduced mark.
Chris Wilson
Kelso
1.55: Iolani
Having reaffirmed his liking for Kelso with a win here last month, Iolani (nap) can defy a modest 3lb rise and follow up. The lightly raced 6yo Fete Champetre is feared most on her reappearance, ahead of last-time-out Hexham maiden winner Kensington Art who is unexposed in the blinkers.
