Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings
Selections from Exeter, Gowran, Kempton, Newcastle and Yarmouth
Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Exeter
2.15: Vision Des Flos
With Mr Mafia, Red Happy and Shantou Express usually keen to be handy this could be set up very nicely for Vision Des Flos, who is effectively 2lb lower than for his Warwick win if taking Freddie Gingell's claim into account. The admirable Mr Mafia is second choice.
Alistair Jones
Gowran Park
5.10: White Caviar
A sister to her trainer's 2020 St Leger winner Galileo Chrome, White Caviar does not look overburdened for her handicap debut. Winner of a 1m4f maiden on soft at Listowel, she could be too good for the likes of Extensio and Noble Crusade, older and more exposed rivals with solid recent form. In From The Cold is dropped in class and could make an impact at this level.
Alan Sweetman
Kempton
8.00: Escape Free
In-form maidens Delphinus and Control must enter calculations and Sundayinmay is weighted to have a big say on the back of her clear Wolverhampton second. But the vote goes to Escape Free, who caught the eye when third over mile at Lingfield and can take a big step forward now going handicapping over this longer trip.

Newcastle
4.13: Cheese The One
Competitive fare with a few prominent racers on show. Cheese The One may be able to complete her hat-trick, with her course-and-distance win three weeks ago achieved in good style and backed up by the clock. Foreseeable Future (second choice) can go well, while Irish import Starsong needs a market check and Minhaaj is better than she showed on her first outing for Brian Ellison. Zen Dancer and My Boy Jack also come into the reckoning.
Paul Smith
Yarmouth
4.30: Dark Design
Roger Varian's It Is Now continues to need excuses but Dark Design has a very good 2-3 strike-rate over 6f and his course-and-distance success in August was gained with authority. Peachey Carnehan, winner of his only course-and-distance race, may well prove the main danger as Camachess has a question mark over her recent efforts. Haseef is worth a look for his new connections.
