A few with claims but Company Keeping might be able to get off the mark. He's been running well in defeat at Dundalk and was leniently left on the same mark for a good second on AW last time. Alice Milligan isn't the most reliable but showed improved form when last seen in a Dundalk maiden.

A number of these tend to be dropped in, with Barn Owl, who made all for his Beverley win last summer, perhaps the one most likely to take them along back in the cheekpieces. Pistoletto is worth considering back down in trip but everything looks in place for Protected Guest, whose seven wins have all come in fields of eight or fewer and who's as happy round here as anywhere.

If this field is judged exclusively on last-time-out performances, then Spring Mile winner Arthur's Realm has particularly solid claims. Darkness (second choice) and Fame And Acclaim may well improve on their efforts in the Lincoln and prove the main dangers.
