An opening mark of 109 may not be a stumbling block for GO BOY who produced dramatic improvement on his stable and hurdling debut at Limerick. Penny Jar may not have stopped improving and should go close if handling the conditions. Mrs Paisley could not be ruled out on her first start for Gordon Elliott. The veteran Carrig Cathal is worth considering after a lively display over fences at Limerick.

Glittering Choice posted a good effort at Newcastle this month and will be a tough nut to crack if the visor continues to have a positive effect but CAPPARIS is heading in the right direction and today's slight step up in trip may well enable her to collect her third win of the winter.

A few of these have met each other lately. Robeam, who's 6lb lower than when successful over course and distance in September 2021, is worth a second look, while Ghostly remains on a fair mark and is another to consider. However, SMART BOYO looks the safest option having finished runner-up in his last three starts over this trip on Tapeta. He seems very likely to run his race and that can make the difference.
