Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Selections from Cheltenham, Doncaster, Bangor, Southwell and Dundalk

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Bangor

2.05: Happy Hollow

Paricolor rates a solid option after his recent exploits and Zafar looks a good bet to give his running, but Happy Hollow(nap) appeals most. This lightly raced 9yo was perhaps unlucky not to have pushed the winner close at Hexham last time.
Alistair Jones

Cheltenham

1.50: Timeless Beauty

While nearly all have realistic each-way claims, the win may go to Timeless Beauty(nap) who should come up this hill well judged on the win at Lingfield on her first start for Fergal O'Brien. That was also her first start after a wind operation. Warwick principals Fontaine Collonges and Precious Eleanor may provide the most opposition, although Rose Of Arcadia is a promising chasing debutante.
Richard Austen

Doncaster

12.30: Get Your Own

Topweight Get Your Own(nap) tops the list following an encouraging chasing debut at Lingfield. Worcester scorer The Mighty Arc may pose the main threat, with Le Ligerien also respected after a pointing win last month. Java Point should step up on the form of his chasing debut now he's back over a more suitable trip.
Richard O'Brien

Dundalk

5.00:Independent Expert

The twice-placed Independent Expert (nap) sets the standard. Her trainer Andy Slattery should have a good idea of what will be required to cope with Hey Kameir, 5½l runner-up here nine days ago. Lakewood comes from a stable which has done well in this category this term. Disqualified course nursery winner Sangria does not look quite good enough with an official rating of 73.
Alan Sweetman

Southwell

7.45: Reset Button

If enjoying a smoother trip than last time Cafe Sydney is capable of playing a part, while Artisan Bleu is another to consider as she is 3lb well in following her second at Lingfield last time. However, Reset Button(nap) should be hard to beat despite his penalty after getting off the mark at Wolverhampton on Monday, with that form having already been franked. Batocchi looks best of the rest.
