Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Haydock, Ludlow, Lingfield, Kempton and Dundalk fancies on Wednesday

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

3.30: Not Too Real Bad

A nursery which may not take a lot of winning and perhaps best to side with Not Too Real Bad, despite a 6lb rise for a recent narrow C&D defeat.
Alan Hewison

Haydock

1.05: Post Chaise

Theme Tune made an encouraging start for his new yard when fourth at Kelso and must enter calculations along with the returning One Fer Mamma and in-form pair Monticello and Sam's The Man. However, there was plenty to like about the Kelso reappearance third of Post Chaise and he can resume winning ways now returned to a longer trip.
Peter Entwistle

Kempton

7.50: Belloccio

Having bagged notable handicaps in his only two starts at Kempton, Belloccio could well prove capable of landing this Listed prize. He put up a smart weight-carrying performance last time and looks open to further improvement on Polytrack. Wild Crusade, who hold solid claims, is feared most ahead of Jack Darcy who is still unexposed at 1m4f. It's also impossible to rule out last year's one-two, Garden Paradise and Siskany.
Steve Boow

Lingfield

2.25: Chichester

The ex-French Millebosc, third behind St Mark's Basilica in last year's Prix du Jockey Club, is a fascinating contender on his first run for William Haggas, while Harry Eustace saddles a couple of interesting runners in Makinmedoit and Chasing Aphrodite. Greatgadian (second choice) won't give up his unbeaten AW record lightly but Chichester is developing into a very useful performer on synthetics and he can follow up a recent Chelmsford success.
Paul Smith

Ludlow

2.15: Laskalin

One True King is appealing, despite his heavy Aintree defeat, with this trip likely to suit. Laskalin recorded his five French wins on officially very soft or heavy ground but in at least one of those races the conditions were a lot less testing and he is taken to gain a first success in Britain. Sam Barton is also considered.
