Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's eight meetings

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Chelmsford
4.51: Rogue Storm
Street Poet should make another bold bid under these conditions, while a few of the others are on dangerous marks if returning to form. However, Rogue Storm looked ready for another crack at 7f when powering home at Yarmouth last time and she is preferred.
Paul Smith
Chester
3.40: Titan Rock
The draw has not been kind to Fools Rush In and Paws For Thought, who were first and third here last time and would have been strongly considered otherwise. The in-form On A Session has bright prospects along with dual course winner Boardman, but the vote goes to Titan Rock, who hinted at a return to form at Goodwood last time and has dropped to a handy mark. Positive Impact may give him most to do, while Cassy O could go well at a big price if getting to the front early on.
Keith McHugh
Curragh
3.45: Meditate
Given his dozen wins in this, a failure to win the race for five years running is anomalous for Aidan O'Brien, whose Maybe Just Maybe is the dark horse of a race likely dominated by stablemate Meditate. She's a beautiful juvenile with all the attributes it would seem. Clearly most dangerous otherwise on paper is the Saxon Warrior filly, Thornbrook.
Johnny Ward
Killarney
2.45: Shannon Gray
Having run solid races the last twice, including over C&D, Shannon Gray could make the breakthrough today. Movie King is interesting over this longer trip but needs to jump better than last time. Let Her Flow and Western Doyen have squeaks, while Ceanndana could improve for cheekpieces.
Tyrone Molloy
Lingfield
6.50: Washraa
The 4yo Raise The Roof isn't out of it following her narrow defeat over C&D last time, but she may be vulnerable to the 3yos. Morgan Fairy and Rock Melody (second choice) are probably better than their latest efforts, but this can go to Washraa who returns to the AW after a couple of good efforts in competitive handicaps at Ascot.
David Bellingham
Newton Abbot
2.52: Mercian Prince
Bathiva and Peterborough (preferred in that order) are respected but their recent wins were gained from the front and Mercian Prince probably has enough speed to seize control in the early stages here. Amy Murphy's 11yo is taken to collect his tenth chasing success.
Chris Wilson
Sandown
5.35: Chipstead
The Roger Teal-trained Chipstead came good about this time last year and duly went on to complete a hat-trick. It was a better race than this in which he finished second at Windsor recently and there can be no excuses from his draw. Neptunian is the improver lurking but second choice is the reliable Four Adaay, who has also dropped lucky with her gate position.
Alistair Jones
York
3.35: Earl Of Tyrone
Transformed this season, Earl Of Tyrone can win his fourth race in a row. There was never any doubt about the outcome once he took over early in the straight for his three Irish wins and his latest form, in a Listed race, has received multiple boosts. Veteran Euchen Glen is feared most judged on the revival he produced when looking unlucky at Goodwood, while another big prize may not prove beyond Get Shirty. There are persuasive cases to be made for Gaassee, Ever Present and Licence as well. Alfred Boucher makes appeal judged on the manner of his win over 2m here on Wednesday but there's the unknown of how he has taken that race.
