KALASHNIKOV landed Newbury’s Betfair Hurdle in fine style last month and sets the standard in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (1.30).

Amy Murphy’s stable star has won three of his four starts over hurdles, with his only defeat coming at the hands of Summerville Boy in the Tolworth at Sandown on desperate ground.
