The bumper at this Thurles fixture was possibly the most interesting contest on the card with plenty of horses seemingly fancied, and this debutant stood out.

Held up at the back of the field, he began to make stealthy progress and appeared to be travelling strongly on the heels of the leaders on the approach to the straight. He didn't really pick up to the extent that might have looked possible, mostly due to greenness, but he gradually got the hang of it and came home well inside the final furlong.
