Monday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiples

Monday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters

Handicappers' nap

Shan Blue (1.35 Wetherby)

A dual course winner as a novice, he was in the process of bolting up in last season's Charlie Hall when falling three out. Arguably the best handicapped chaser in training and should be hard to beat if back on song.
Steve Mason

Punt nap

Galia Des Liteaux (1.20 Kempton)

Ran to a Racing Post Rating of 145 when motoring through heavy ground at Bangor on her chasing debut last month and while this is a huge rise in class, she will relish conditions and is an unknown quantity. Well worth considering receiving 7lb from the boys.
Robbie Wilders

Eyecatcher

Witch Hunter (3.35 Wolverhampton)

Ran as well as ever when a close third at Lingfield last time and his previous win came at this track.
Ron Wood

West Country

McFabulous (1.20 Kempton)

Impressive at Newbury in beating Thyme Hill and should be well suited by track and trip. Can give Paul Nicholls a sixth win in the race.
James Stevens

Speed figures

Gelino Bello (1.20 Kempton)

Clocked an impressive speed figure when making all in a two-runner event at Exeter. Grade 1 winning hurdler who could turn this into a real stamina test.
Craig Thake

Dark horse

Umbrigado (3.13 Wincanton)

Took advantage of his lower hurdles mark when staying on gamely to land the spoils a couple of starts back at Newton Abbot. Only up 3lb for that and should go well in this.
Tom Gibbings
