This gelding showed little last season, but he raced mostly on ground no better than soft and this campaign has seen him in much better form – presumably as it is the first time he has encountered a decent surface.

Rose Dobbin's son of Presenting made a winning comeback on fast ground at Kelso early last month but was pulled up on easy going there next time. He bounced back on good ground in first-time cheekpieces at Wetherby 17 days ago, when he traded at 1.34 before finishing second to the reopposing Blue Kascade.
