Meany's mare good enough for another Gowran win

Enough Is Enough can add to her reputation as a Gowran Park specialist by landing the concluding 7f handicap (5.30) at the County Kilkenny track today.

The nine-year-old mare, trained locally by Paddy Meany, has an unusual profile in that she was still a maiden until winning over the course and trip last summer on the 38th start of a career which began as a three-year-old in 2010.

Having run poorly on her last two starts of the 2015 season and on her first two outings this season, it was beginning to look as if she would struggle to win another race. However, she gradually worked her way back to form, and was having her fifth outing of the season when registering a 25-1 success over the course and trip last month.
