There was a distinctly European feel to a busy barrier trial morning at Sha Tin on Tuesday as some familiar faces took their first important Hong Kong tests.

German Guineas runner-up Lockheed stepped out for his first public spin since leaving William Haggas, while Irish Guineas third Irishcorrespondent and Britannia sixth Senator (now Exultant and Simply Brilliant) chased him home.

Joao Moreira was suitably impressed by Lockheed and will be expecting to notch at least one winner on Wednesday's Happy Valley card as he returns from a two-meeting ban.

Master Albert has finally been handed a favourable draw and can capitalise in the 2.45, but there won't be much juice in the price and it might pay to focus on two longer shots who have fared well in the ballot.

Massive Move and Kim Glory are the freewheeling pair in question.

It's far from impossible to defy a high draw in Valley sprints, but low-drawn speed can be dangerous when the rail is out wide in the 'C' position and Massive Move is well berthed in stall 2 for the Jackson Handicap at 2.15.

Massive Move sluiced in on the AW at Sha Tin in June and has remained in good heart from a much higher mark, showing fine speed again and giving best late on when fifth in a fast-run race here on his latest start.

Local rider Dylan Mo can look forward to a bold effort if he exercises a little more restraint and a similar balance needs striking when the capable 7lb claimer partners Kim Glory from the same stall in the opening Bank Street Handicap at 12.15.

An official mark of 25 hardly suggests Kim Glory has been thriving of late but he's been asked to force an unsustainable pace by fellow apprentice Jack Wong on both of his last two starts.

Generous Heart and Zac Purton look the pair to beat after a recent trial win, but Kim Glory has a feather weight and enough speed to make them all go if 'Dyna' Mo can ration the veteran's energy more sensibly.
