Market Rasen Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections on Wednesday

Last week’s course-and-distance winner Forever Des Long escapes a penalty for that success and is 4lb well in, with Jack Martin on, in the 2m2½f handicap hurdle (2.20). He is a banker.

The 2m7f handicap hurdle (2.55) is a good opportunity for Thirtyfourstitches to bounce back from his fall at Fakenham last time. It’s also worth including Made For You as insurance.

Mackelduff is one of my best bets of the day in the 2m4½f handicap hurdle (3.30) and he should go well. However, it’s also worth putting Calico into the mix as a solid alternative.

Heritier bolted up on his British chase debut over course and distance last week and is 4lb well in under a 7lb penalty here. He is a banker in the 2m1f novice handicap chase (4.05).

Edmond Dantes might have followed up his course win here in February but for falling three out at Newcastle last time and he is the best option in the closing 2m5½f handicap chase (4.40).
