Market Rasen Placepot picks: Paul Kealy shares his eight-line perm on Thursday

Market Rasen is the obvious destination for a Placepot with at least two places available for every race, although a big perm is unlikely to be needed.

Socialist Agenda contests the opener (12.17) after showing fair form to win all three of his bumpers last season. Assuming he can jump he's going to be hard to beat.

Go Chique also looks likely to go close back up in trip in the next (12.52) and I don't feel the need to add any more, but we'll go with two in leg three (1.22).

The in-form and consistent Teescomponents Lad is the main fancy and hopefully Thunderstruck, also running well, is the other to keep warm favourite Jesuitique out of the frame, who has something to prove up in trip.

Sam Barton and promising chase debutant The Edgar Wallace are the picks for the next (1.52), while in leg five (2.22) Heronord should make amends for an unlucky slip on landing three out when clearly going to win at Taunton last time.

The last leg (2.55) is tough but Presuming Ed ran well when fifth to some promising novices at Sandown last time and is back in calmer waters, while Blue Collar Glory should have a workable handicap mark based on his bumper form after running in better company in novices.
