He may be up to it and Weekender Offender may be better handicapped still, but Alexandrakollontai is undoubtedly very well treated on her old form, some of which is as recent as last November, and there have ben signs she is not far off recovering it.

A second at Newcastle in May was a fair effort, and while she wouldn't have got home when an eight-length last to Gulf Of Poets (received 2lb) over 1m1f on soft ground here last month, she stepped up on that when a good fourth at Musselburgh last time.
