Makethedifference to continue Vaughan's fine run

Tim Vaughan is a trainer I follow closely, so it proved mighty expensive to be in Florida on holiday when he hit top form over the last fortnight, his haul of winners including six in just two days.

One of those scorers, Makethedifference, who was impressive at Kelso, can brush aside a 7lb penalty to continue the Welsh handler's excellent run in Huntingdon's Tribute Cornish Pale Ale Handicap Hurdle (2.00).

The eight-year-old's handicap mark had plunged from 119 to 106 after a series of heavy defeats prior to Kelso, but there had been definite encouragement to be gleaned from his Worcester fourth of eight to Iniciar last month.
