Lyons looks set to have Radar in working order at Roscommon

Punters have quite an interesting all-Flat card to mull over at a hopefully sunny Roscommon this evening, and the return of decent ground should lead to a swing in the fortunes of some runners.

Ger Lyons could well have a big night. His juveniles Mack Attack and Sweet Sounds have outstanding claims in the opening two races and he can also land the Irish Jockeys Association Handicap (7.20) with Radar O'Reilly.

This son of Danehill Dancer had looked progressive in maidens before beating subsequent winner Laoch Na Mi over this trip at the Curragh in June. His handicap debut here last month can probably have a line drawn through it as the testing conditions seemed against him and he looks well capable of making amends here in what is a pretty competitive heat.
