French Ship 3.20 Chepstow @ 7-2

Quickly developed into a useful novice hurdler last season, with the first of his two wins gained over this C&D (good to soft); makes handicap debut after nine-month absence but should still have potential; big player.

Fireblade 3.40 Newmarket @ 33-1

Regular improvement for new yard, including a win at the Shergar Cup at Ascot (2m, good to firm) in August and going oh so close off this mark in three-way photo at York (2m, good) on latest outing; he's well handicapped and, with a good chance that 2m2f will help with further progress, another bold show should be on its way.
