Considering the way he travelled halfway up the home straight, it was disappointing that this well-touted gelding ultimately went down by five lengths to Tidal Flow in a Newbury bumper earlier this month. However, he could well improve for this quick switch to hurdling.

Conclusion Wouldn’t be surprised if Burrows Edge was backed off the boards, but Potterman looked a nice recruit at Huntingdon and this is no gimme. I’ll sit the race out.
