1pt winIt seems weird to be focusing on all-weather Flat racing just a couple of days before the Cheltenham Festival, but with Sandown’s Imperial Cup meeting falling victim to this miserably wet winter, the most competitive card left is at Wolverhampton.

It is worth taking a chance that Embour is fit on his first run since last season’s Ayr Gold Cup in the Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap Chase (2.10).

He was a three-time winner in the first half of last season, and while he didn’t win after July, he ran some crackers in races that didn’t quite work out for him, including when a close sixth in the Portland at Doncaster and when fifth on his final run at Ayr.
