Navan stages the final major meeting in Ireland before the Christmas extravaganza, and although Andy Dufresne seems to have frightened away most of the opposition in the feature, there are enough betting opportunities to keep one interested, beginning in the Grade B Tara Handicap Hurdle (12.30).

There is an interesting mix of horses in this race – experienced handicappers, unexposed ones and horses coming back to handicaps from Graded company – but one that catches the eye low down the handicap is the Michael Hourigan-trained Drumacoo.
