The following 0-70 fillies' handicap (2.00) is sure to eliminate plenty of tickets from the pool as a case can be made for most of the 14-strong field. The standout is Hurricane Helen, but I want back-up and the consistent Evening Song seems the best option.

Keep things simple by selecting the promising Country Pyle in the 1m2f maiden (2.35), consequently allowing you to play safe in a trappy seven-runner sprint handicap (3.10).

Faustus' reliability means he has to go in. Topweight First Edition has form earlier this season that would see him go close, while Ishvara has become well handicapped off a mark of 82.

Recent Goodwood third Amathus and the 11-time placed Winnetka close out a backend heavy perm in the 6f handicap (3.35).
