CAROLE’S DESTRIER can make a successful seasonal debut in Saturday’s Ladbrokes Trophy (3.00) at Newbury.

Neil Mulholland’s star proved his suitability for this test when running a mighty race in this contest last season, beaten just half a length by Native River.

That was an outstanding contest on the clock and the winner duly followed up in the Welsh National before finishing third in the Gold Cup.
