Kempton Placepot tips: Paul Kealy has three bankers for the top-class action

There are small fields and plenty of short prices, so it's probably wise for Placepot punters not to go too mad with a big perm at Kempton.

In the opener (12.45), does not look the most straightforward but has comfortably the best form in a race routinely farmed by Nicky Henderson, including with the likes of Altior and Mister Fisher.

and would be my two in the next (1.20), although we're not taking any chances given where they are in the betting.

It's a straight toss-up in the next (1.55) between and and there's no real point in taking a view one way or the other, so both go in there.

It's probably asking too much to get Epatante out of the frame in the Christmas Hurdle (2.30), but she did get turned over at 1-5 last year and is just as likely a winner in my book as she is, so he will do for me.

I'm banking again in the King George (3.05) as is by far the most likely winner in my opinion and I can't see him out of the frame. That leaves room for a couple in the last (3.40).

I expect to go well at a price, while still has more to offer despite being no match for the well-handicapped Tommy's Oscar (won since) at Haydock.
