It is a potentially lucrative day for Irish-trained horses on Wednesday when there will be a few of each-way value, and no horse fits that bill better than Beacon Edge in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase (2.10).
A solid fourth in last season's Stayers Hurdle, he has yet to scale those heights over fences, but he was a brave winner of the Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse in November before suffering a narrow defeat to Farouk D'Alene in the Grade 2 Ten Up Novice Chase at Navan.
