Joy for jolly-backers as Unify touches 15
Kevin Prendergast's Catch A Wave hit a low of 1.05 in the 6f nursery at Fairyhouse, but having joined the leader Dinky Inty he hung left and was outmuscled in the final furlong. Dinky Inty hit a high of 23 on Betfair to make it two out of two for trainer Tim Doyle.
The Anthony Honeyball-trained Unify was sent off 2-1 favourite for the 1m7½f handicap chase at Southwell but hit a high of 15 in running after losing the lead between the third and sixth fences.
Once the six-year-old mare retook the lead there was little doubt about the outcome as she drew clear to score by 11 lengths. Runner-up Yourholidayisover reached a low of 1.34 when upsides the winner.
