Those who do not fancy Champ probably think he will bomb out in one way or another. He is such a talented horse, with form at three miles. Getting him beaten on merit would be a high-tariff approach.

If you think he will either fail to complete or otherwise compromise his chance, the best way to take him on is in a match bet. Sporting Index have paired him with Copperhead and that is just the sort of match bet I want to be involved in.
