The Derby picture will be a lot clearer after all the trials have been run, but it could be a good time to have a bet as there are doubts about whether the 2,000 Guineas one-two will run and they take a large chunk out of the market.
My gut feeling is that Churchill will line up at Epsom after taking in the Irish 2,000 Guineas because Coolmore have nothing to lose by running him. The Galileo factor and the fact he was strong at the finish on Saturday suggest he will stay at least a mile and a quarter.
