Mick Channon has his horses in good shape and, after a double at Windsor on Monday, he teams up with Silvestre de Sousa again in the Close Brothers Premium Finance Handicap at Newmarket (5.55).

This is a wide-open race but Maksab showed a great attitude last season when winning twice, and that was especially meritorious because he's from a late-maturing family.
