There are some interesting races at Fairyhouse on Wednesday with a mixture of short-priced favourites and some competitive fare, which kicks off with the opening Winter Festival December 1st & 2nd Rated Novice Chase (12.20).
There looks to be plenty that hold sound claims, including last month's Tipperary winner Ellie Mac and unlucky Tramore fallers Monatomic and Moonball, but the one to be on is Thecraicisninety, who represents the in-form Curragh stable of Padraig Roche.
Since returning in July from an eight-month break his fortunes have improved, particularly over fences.
