In-form King could be celebrating more success at Newbury

IF Robin Roe is half as good as some people seem to think he is he will take the world of beating in today’s Betfred Challow Novices’ Hurdle (1.50) at Newbury, but I still find it hard to believe he should be as short as he is in what looks a decent renewal.

It was impossible not to be impressed by the way he scooted clear of No Comment at Aintree last month and the runner-up has won twice since, albeit at short prices at Market Rasen and Plumpton.

However, No Comment, the favourite at Aintree, jumped particularly badly that day and this will provide a much sterner examination.
