In-form George will have Roc raring to go for Badger test

GIVEN trainer Tom George is in such cracking form, Roc D’Apsis looks a very big price for the Badger Ales Trophy (3.20) at Wincanton this afternoon.

George’s horses were ticking along nicely in October, but from six runners this month he’s had four winners and a second and all six have run career bests according to Racing Post Ratings.

That’s not the only reason for thinking Roc D’Apsis can go well, though, as he’s perfectly well handicapped on his third in last season’s BetBright Chase at Kempton and is now on a 3lb lower mark.
