There's little I like more than punting early in the week for weekend races, but it is much easier to find value during the jumps season.

There might be hurdles and fences to negotiate once you get there but, the big festivals aside, you rarely have to worry about too many multiple entries and, of course, you can be far more certain what the going is likely to be.
