Newmarket: David Milnes

Deeds Not Words (12.50 Lingfield, nap)

Gained reward for his consistency when getting to deny Majorette by a nose at Kempton last time. Michael Wigham's speedster is up just 3lb for that and is fancied to follow up.

Others to follow
Lingfield:
11.45 Private View, 1.25 Ghazawaal, 2.00 Journey Of Life, 2.35 Crystal Deauvillle, 3.40 Baasha.
Wolverhampton: 5.15 Pushkin Museum, 6.45 Comporta, 7.15 Najib, 7.45 Casanova8.15 Teresita Alvarez.

North: Richard Young

Little Bruce (12.40 Haydock, nap)

Progressive chaser from in-form yard and his best effort was on only second chase start when making all over 3m on good ground at Hexham last time. Up in the weights and grade but will be suited by this track and is fancied to follow up.

Others to follow
Ascot: 2.40 Tomngerry, 3.15 Duke Of Navan.
Haydock: 12.10 Black Key, 1.50 Chti Balko, 2.25 Shades Of Midnight, 3.35 Takingrisks.
Huntingdon: 1.40 Beach Break, 2.50 Tir Dubh.
Lingfield: 12.15 Archies Lad, 1.25 Firmament.
Wolverhampton: 5.15 Carlovian, 5.45 Oriental Relation, 6.15 Sunday Prospect, 6.45 Man Of Verve, 7.45 Rich Cummins, 8.15 Axel Jacklin, 8.45 Lucky Lodge.

Lambourn: James Burn

Like The Sound (12.55 Ascot, nap)

Seven-year-old is lightly raced so retains plenty of potential and shaped encouragingly on his first run after a long layoff at Sedgefield last time. Should be in the mix if building on that.

Others to follow
Ascot: 12.20 Doux Pretender, 1.30 Talent To Amuse, 2.05 Gold Present, 2.40 We Have A Dream, 3.15 Theinval.
Haydock: 1.15 River Wylde, 2.25 Paisley Park, 3.00 Might Bite.

Wolverhampton: 5.45 Hollander, 8.15 Fume.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

If The Cap Fits (2.40 Ascot, nap)

Smart six-year-old who found two miles plenty sharp enough when upped in class behind Verdana Blue at Wincanton. However, Harry Fry’s gelding is fancied to take all the beating with this step up in distance expected to suit.

Others to follow
Ascot: 12.20 Trevelyn’s Corn, 12.55 Dinos Benefit, 1.30 Little Miss Poet, 2.05 Politologue, 3.15 Cyrname.
Haydock: 12.10 Grand Sancy, 1.15 Kalondra, 1.50 Cyrus Darius, 2.25 Captain Cattistock, 3.00 Native River, 3.35 Braqueur D’Or.
Huntingdon: 12.00 Larkbarrow Lad, 2.15 Boy In A Bentley.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

If The Cap Fits (2.40 Ascot, nap)

Injury curtailed a promising novice campaign, but continued his progressive profile on his Wincanton reappearance and should be hard to beat at the weights.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Theo's Charm (2.25 Haydock)

Has reached the frame in all four starts at the track including this race in the last two years and deserves to get his head in front.

Longshot: David Revers

Speredek (3.15 Ascot)

Nigel Hawke's star wasn't quite up to beating Un De Sceaux in last season's Clarence House Chase but has some useful form at the track. He could be hard to peg back following a wind operation.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Future Proof (12.05 Gowran Park)

A maiden winner on the Flat at Leopardstown in April, the Noel Meade-trained son of Dream Ahead shaped well on his hurdling debut when third behind Coeur Sublime at Down Royal earlier this month and he can land this juvenile hurdle under Sean Flanagan.

Willie Mullins has won with four of his five runners in the 1.10 at Gowran Park, landing it with big names like Douvan and Sharjah. This year he sends Epswell to boost that good record.
