'If he got his conditions I certainly wouldn't want to swap him for anything'

Nicky Henderson, trainer of Champ, Champagne Platinum and Pym
Champ is in good form. He's had one school since Cheltenham and his jumping is fine, his fall hasn't worried him. We're trying to think where we're going to go, he'll run again but we haven't decided where. There's the Reynoldstown or we might take him up to Kelso but that's just an idea. Pym is doing well and if Champ didn't go to the Reynoldstown, then he would. Champagne Platinum runs in the Scilly Isles on Saturday and then we'll see what we're going to do.

Joe Tizzard, trainer of Slate House, Copperhead and Highest Sun
Slate House will be coming back from a disappointing run in the Cotswold Chase, maybe the race came a bit too soon. We were trying to find out if he got three miles plus around Cheltenham. At this stage he's our best one, he's a Grade 1 novice chase winner and better ground would suit him. Copperhead's going to the Reynoldstown next but he's a progressive young horse who has won two handicaps well. He's got a National Hunt Chase entry as well but we'll see what happens at Ascot first. He's on an upward curve and he's going to turn out to be a lovely horse. Highest Sun might go to Plumpton next but we're not committed as to what trip he wants, he's got a Marsh entry as well so we'll play it by ear.

Anthony Honeyball, trainer of Sam Brown
He's just ticking over and seems fine at the moment. The only option outside the RSA is the Reynoldstown. We wouldn't know if we'd run until two or three days before as it depends on what the ground is doing. We're really keen on going to the RSA, but we're just banking on the ground a bit. We'd want soft ground – or soft, heavy – with a bit of rain around. If he got his conditions I certainly wouldn't want to swap him for anything.
