After the disappointment of missing out on a winner at Cheltenham, I’m hoping we can bounce back by landing some prize-money in the Goffs UK Spring Sales Bumper on Saturday.

This is a £50,000 race, the richest on the card at Newbury, and we’ve done well in it in the past. The Unit won it for us in 2015, while Lidar and Montbazon both came out on top in the days it was run at Doncaster.

We’ll run three this time, but they’re all very lightly raced and I wouldn’t like to predict which of them will do best.
