Spencer gets the leg up on David O'Meara's Arecibo, and the ex-French four-year-old certainly has plenty going for him.

Beaten only a neck in a 5½f Group 3 at Maisons-Laffitte as a three-year-old for Carlos Laffon-Parias, Arecibo arrived at O'Meara's with a mark of 100, but he didn't show much at all on his first couple of starts in various headgear so was gelded.
