Henry's exploration fools punters

Cuttin’ Edge was turned over in the opening race at Ffos Las despite looking to have made a race-winning move after striking the front inside the final furlong. £9,488 was matched on him at 1.01 in running on Betfair, with the winner, Our Boy, hitting 450 when becoming outpaced by Cuttin’ Edge and third home King Of Paris between the last two furlongs. He definitely appreciated the final furlong, unlike the punters who forced him down to the basement price.

Jaarih was supported at 1.25 on the exchanges when coming with a strong run from the rear of the field before being held by Flowing Clarets in the seller at Thirsk.

Henry The Explorer was done at the same price in the 1m2f handicap at Newmarket less than hour later, only to finish third. Perhaps the near head-on camera angle confused in-play punters.
