Local trainer Henry de Bromhead, who has supplied the opening winner of the new year at Tramore in two of the last four years, seems to have found a suitable candidate for the 2021 edition in the shape of the once-raced Not Available.

A year ago Willie Mullins saddled the subsequent County Hurdle winner Saint Roi for a comfortable success in this event. Despite the trainer's terrific current form, it is hard to see his long-absent runner Mr Coldstone – unplaced in three starts as a two-year-old for Johnny Murtagh – posing a serious threat to Not Available, who made a satisfactory start to his career at Navan last month.
