It has been a while since Aljari won a race, but he has tumbled 20lb in the ratings over the past couple of years and if his first run for Tom Clover last month is any guide he won't be dropping any further for a while.

Once rated as high as 95 and a four-time winner on the all-weather, Aljari lost his form for Marco Botti, but he travelled well after an eight-month break on his debut for Clover here four weeks ago, and would have been a lot closer than fifth with a clear run.
